Qualifications

• Six months of work experience passing meds in a retirement community setting is preferred.
• CMA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English.
• The ideal candidate will be caring, organized, and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and document administration per physician orders.
• Record resident vital signs and report changes.
• Manage medication supply and inventory.
• Account for medications received, stored and dispensed.
• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Help with housekeeping, transport, and laundry.
• Observe and report changes in resident status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards.
• Escort residents to dining and assist with meals.
