Job summary

Auburn Opco, LLC is seeking a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) / Med Tech who must hold a CNA license and KMA certification. The role focuses on accurate medication preparation, verification, administration, and documentation aligned with physician orders and state regulations.

The position may involve supporting residents with transfers, positioning, daily living activities, and related CNA duties as needed. Training and SRNA/KMA status maintenance are required to remain in good standing.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license and Kentucky KMA certification for consideration.
• State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) with Kentucky Medication Aide training completed.
• Maintain SRNA and KMA status with annual training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for resident administration as per physician orders.
• Safely administer medications, verify resident, monitor vitals pre-administration, assist with repositioning as needed.
• Document medication administration in the medical record.
• Maintain medication cart in a clean and efficient manner.
• Ensure timely medication reorders from pharmacy.
• Label/date opened medications.
• May perform CNA duties as needed, such as assisting with transfers, positioning, ambulation, or daily living activities.

Kentucky SRNA with KMA certification

Current SRNA and KMA status with annual training
