Job summary

Kisco Senior Living Magnolia Glen is seeking a Medication Technician to administer resident medications and coordinate treatments. The role requires Med Tech or CNA certification and a commitment to caring for residents in a 32-hour, full-time schedule.

The position offers weekend rotation with a pay rate of $18.50–$19.50 per hour, plus a $2.00 weekend shift differential, and benefits including paid time off, health/dental/vision, and a 401K. A free meal is provided each shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a Med Tech / CNA certification (state requirements may apply).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant course may be required by state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer resident medications and coordinate treatments.
• Assist residents with daily activities and personal care.
• Provide companionship and monitor resident wellbeing.
• Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
• Document care provided and contribute to care plans.

Job description

The Medication Technician @ Magnolia Glen administers resident medications and coordinates treatments to residents.

• Must have a Med Tech / CNA certification**

Schedule: Full Time

3pm-11pm includes Every other Weekend

(32 hours a week)

Pay: $18.50-$19.50/hr

(plus $2.00 weekend shift differential)

What will I do every day?

• Assist residents with simple requests as needed
• Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation and other activities
• Provide companionship and develop strong resident relations
• Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures
• Document care provided to residents consistent
• Provide input to assure that resident individual service plans are current
• Review 24 hour report and care check lists regularly

What will I need to be successful in this role?
