Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Des Peres, MO, is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments with accuracy and dignity. This role requires ensuring resident safety and complying with regulatory standards.

You will document in MAR/TAR, observe residents, and monitor symptoms while following the Six Rights of Medication Administration. Prior senior care experience is preferred, with CPR/First Aid and medication administration certifications highly valued.

What You'll Do:

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Pay Range:

17.95 - 22.45
