Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living Summerville is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to join our community. This role provides hands-on care, supports daily living activities, and helps maintain a safe, home-like environment for residents.

Responsibilities include observing and reporting changes in residents, assisting with medications under supervision, and maintaining clean, organized care areas while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred
• First Aid Certification preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides hands-on care and emotional support to residents during shifts.
• Observes, reports and documents changes in residents’ condition to the Nurse or Health Care Coordinator.
• Assists with activities of daily living and helps residents maintain independence and safety.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and care areas; supports sanitation and infection control.
• Assists in medication administration under supervision and documents as required.
• Serves and collects food trays and assists with meal intake when needed.
