Job summary

The Oaks in Muskegon, MI, is hiring for a Med Tech/Caregiver on the Evening Shift. You will deliver medications and provide daily living support aligned with individual care plans, under supervision of the Nurse Manager or Wellness Director.

A 3‑day onboarding program starts your healthcare career path. Qualifications include a High School diploma, state-certified Med Tech or CMA, CPR/BLS, and 1+ year in geriatric care preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medication Aide or Med Tech (state-specific)
• Ability to administer medications and assist with daily living activities
• Strong communication and teamwork with nursing staff and families

Responsibilities

• Administer oral/topical medications following physician orders and the Five Rights procedure
• Take vital signs and monitor basic health indicators
• Provide wound care and coordinate with nursing staff
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility and feeding
• Maintain safe, clean environments and document care accurately
