Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Kew Gardens in New York is hiring a Med Tech (RMA) to assist with daily medication administration and resident care. You will maintain medication records, coordinate with doctors and pharmacies, and support residents with daily living activities in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have state-minimum requirement in experience, certification, and/or license.
• Certified Medication Aide, First Aid and/or CPR certifications as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily administration of medication to residents.
• Maintain resident medication programs and documentation, including distribution and record-keeping.
• Assist with doctor appointments, pharmacies, and daily living activities to enhance residents' lives.
• Work cooperatively with team members to support residents and ensure safety.
• Receive on-the-job training and pursue career growth opportunities.
• Comply with state requirements for certifications and licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

What you will do as a Med Tech (RMA)

• Assist with daily administration of medication to residents
• Maintain resident medication programs and documentation, including medication distribution, ordering and reception, file management, and storage.
• Enhance the lives of older adults by assistingwith doctor’s appointments, pharmacies, and daily living activities
• Exhibit ethical behavior and work cooperatively with other talented team members in daily support of residents
• Receive on-the-job training and discover opportunities for career growth and advancement
• Must have Certified Medication Aide, First Aid and/or CPR certifications, if required by state

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $17.00/hr - $20.40/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
