Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing education program.
• Active RN license in appropriate state or compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team to achieve outcomes.
• May administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Adheres to ANA ethics and promotes patient-centered care.
