Job summary

Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg travel nurse in Crestview, Florida for a 13-week RN contract at North Okaloosa Medical Center. The role pays $1,741 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

As the Med Surg RN on assignment, you'll manage a varied caseload, administer medications and treatments, educate patients and families, and coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the care team. Travel benefits include streamlined credentialing and Day 1 benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Med Surg nursing experience.
• Active Florida RN license.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of medical-surgical patients, including postoperative care when assigned.
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor for changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the care team.
