Job summary

Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg RN for Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA. This 13-week assignment features a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule, offering a fast-start credentialing process and Day 1 benefits.

You’ll manage a varied med-surg caseload, administer medications, and support admissions and discharges while collaborating with the care team. Requirements include 2+ years Med Surg experience and an active WA RN license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Med Surg nursing experience.
• Active Washington RN License

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions, including postoperative care when assigned.
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor for changes in condition, escalating concerns promptly.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the interdisciplinary care team
