Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical Surgical and Telemetry (Med Surg/Tele) in Nebraska. The RN provides patient-centered care, assesses and plans care, administers medications, and collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include an ASN with BSN preferred, and 1–2 years of RN experience in Med Surg/Telemetry or Acute Care.

Qualifications

• ASN required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of RN experience in Med Surg/Telemetry or Acute Care settings preferred.
• Experience caring for a diverse patient population in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the team.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and track progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation.
• Respond to medical emergencies and changes in condition.
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, HIPAA, and quality standards.
• Float to other units as assigned within competency.
