Job summary

Wilson Health in Sidney, Ohio is seeking a Medical Surgical-Telemetry Patient Care Technician for the Acute Care Department. This direct-hire role supports the 23-bed medical-surgical-telemetry unit, with a 36-hour workweek and a 3rd shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

The PCT will perform patient observation rounds, assist with activities of daily living, and support the nurse manager in delivering compassionate, safe care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program, or 3–6 months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting the physical and emotional needs of the patient.
• Carry out treatments and activities of daily living as assigned.
• Adhere to established standards of practice.
• Provide care with respect for life, dignity and human worth.
