Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department. This role assists with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

The candidate must hold a certified nursing assistant certificate, have BLS within 30 days of hire, and demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology. Prior acute care or physician’s office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required.
• BLS within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Maintains a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team/unit.
