Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, in New Jersey, is seeking a Nurse Assistant to join the Med Surg/Telemetry team on day shifts. You will support basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment for non-critical patients.

Requirements include a current CNA certificate, BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months in acute care or a physician's office preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months' previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under RN supervision.
