Job summary
ARMStaffing is seeking a compassionate Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, AK. Night shift consists of 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, in a dynamic adult and geriatric patient population.
The ideal candidate has 1 year of med-surg/telemetry experience, Alaska RN license (or pending with timely licensure), BLS, and Epic charting proficiency. We offer comprehensive benefits and support for travel and housing.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year in medical-surgical or telemetry.
- Alaska RN license in hand required; pending licenses accepted with timely application.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with patient ratios of 5-6 preferred.
- Proficient with Epic or similar EHR systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including medications and assessments.
- Monitor patient status and report changes to healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
