Job summary

Medical City McKinney, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Med Surg Tele RN for a full-time day shift (7am-7pm) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team and discharge planning as per nursing models.

You will assess patients at admission and throughout shifts, administer medications, document care, respond to requests, and educate patients and families about conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree must be completed within 2 years of start date.
• BLS required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during each shift.
• Administer prescribed medications and document care in the medical record.
• Provide timely responses to patient requests and educate patients/families about conditions and treatments.
