Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality care to assigned patients. You will perform nursing processes including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and support the facility's mission and values in North Texas.

This PRN position offers 7:00 am to 7:00 pm shifts and requires BLS, Texas RN license and at least 1 year of RN experience. You will work within a collaborative team to maintain safe, therapeutic environments and ensure

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
Current Texas nursing license or eligibility to practice.
Minimum 12 months RN experience.

Responsibilities

Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment using communication and teamwork.
Assumes responsibility for nursing components of patient/family education.
Communicates with team, coworkers, patients and families and ensures understanding of information.
Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and facility.
Ensures complete, accurate, timely written communication of patient information.
Administers medications and IV therapy safely and timely.
Shows personal initiative for performance and professional growth.
Uses the nursing process to deliver quality care throughout the episode of care.
Performs other duties as assigned.
