Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality care to assigned patients. You will perform nursing processes including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and support the facility's mission and values in North Texas.

This PRN position offers 7:00 am to 7:00 pm shifts and requires BLS, Texas RN license and at least 1 year of RN experience. You will work within a collaborative team to maintain safe, therapeutic environments and ensure

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Current Texas nursing license or eligibility to practice.
• Minimum 12 months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment using communication and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for nursing components of patient/family education.
• Communicates with team, coworkers, patients and families and ensures understanding of information.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate, timely written communication of patient information.
• Administers medications and IV therapy safely and timely.
• Shows personal initiative for performance and professional growth.
• Uses the nursing process to deliver quality care throughout the episode of care.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Work experience: 12 months of RN experience
