Medical City McKinney is seeking a Med Surg Tele RN for a full-time day shift (7am-7pm) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with providers, and advocate for patients and families while following established nursing models.

The role requires an RN license, an Associate or Bachelor’s degree within 2 years, and 1+ year RN experience. BCLS certification within 30 days is required, with comprehensive benefits and career opportunities offered.

Qualifikationen

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
• 1+ years RN experience

Aufgaben

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
