Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is hiring an RN for Med-Surg or Med-Tele. Work three days per week, 7a-7p with rotating weekends, in a newly expanded 217-bed facility offering advanced multi-system care and a Trauma Level III designation.

You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver patient-centered care, using established nursing models and evidence-based practice. Texas license and BLS are required, with Med-Surg experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program; Associates or BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license or multi-state compact license required; TX license within 90 days if applicable.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• 1 year Med-Surg clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients to provide quality care.
• Provide care based on age-appropriate physical, psychological, safety and education criteria.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Lead by collaborating with ancillary staff to maintain professional nursing standards.
