Job Details

• Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele Float Pool
• Location: Helena, Montana (Zip: 59601)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel / Contract
• Contract Length: 13–15 weeks
• Start Date: September 21, 2025
• End Date: January 3, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (3 shifts per week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Unit: Float Pool (Medical, Surgical, Oncology)
• Patient Ratios: 1:5–6
• EMR System: Epic
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,980–$2,030

RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Ability to float between medical, surgical, and oncology units
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Epic EMR experience preferred

RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced float pool environment
• Float between medical, surgical, and oncology units as needed
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using Epic EMR
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Deliver compassionate support and education to patients and families
