Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in Ocala, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with state standards and specialty requirements. You will collaborate with providers and care teams to advocate for patients and families.

As part of a comprehensive care team, you will administer medications, monitor responses, educate patients and families, and document care thoroughly to ensure excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Florida RN license (or approved multistate license) required.
• Associate Degree in nursing or related field.
• No travel required; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response and document care in the medical record.
• Provide timely, empathetic care; respond to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
