Job summary

CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island, Nebraska, is seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse to deliver patient-centered care on a 29-bed unit covering orthopedic, neurology, cardiac, and telemetry.

You will manage 4–6 patients per shift, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vitals, chart timely, and collaborate with social work, care coordination, physical and occupational therapy, labs, and imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in Nebraska or through compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for 4-6 patients per shift.
• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vitals, and document timely.
• Collaborate with social work, therapy, labs, imaging and care coordination.
