Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Maine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit. This role is full-time with day and night shifts, schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, across available locations including Bridgton Hospital, Central Maine Medical Center, and Rumford Hospital.

Pay ranges from $36.00 to $49.16 per hour, with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced RNs and up to $10,000 for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate preferred within 30 days of hire.
• Prior acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing staff.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in condition and tests results; respond quickly to changes.
