Job summary

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for Med Surg on a PRN basis. The role focuses on prioritizing care for assigned patients in a fast-paced setting with emphasis on clinical skills, critical thinking, and compassionate, patient-centered service.

The ideal candidate holds a Missouri RN license, with BSN preferred, and BLS certification. Prior Med Surg experience and EMR familiarity are desired to ensure smooth patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• Previous Med Surg (1 year preferred) or related experience desired.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver care to a team of assigned patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Be proficient with clinical skills and assessments, critical thinking skills, and time management.
• Work in a teamwork environment.
• Use critical thinking, excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Be able to deliver personal, compassionate care and have excellent customer service skills.
• Average nurse patient ratio 1:5.
