Job summary

Jefferson Health in Turnersville, NJ seeks a professional nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will develop individualized care plans with patients and care partners, addressing physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs while respecting cultural beliefs.

Key duties include education, risk minimization, and collaboration with an inter-professional team to improve quality and safety. Ongoing learning and precepting activities are expected.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire strongly preferred.
• 1 year Previous experience as an RN in an acute care setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, their family/designated care partners, and other staff per Jefferson Health values.
• Partners with patients and families in identifying learning needs and provides education.
• Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, and monitor outcomes of care processes.
• Functions within nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure quality patient care.

• Participates in hospital and practice committee work focusing on safety and quality.
