Job summary

The incumbent will document data, communicate care plans, administer medications, and participate in discharge planning while maintaining strict infection control and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required within one week of hire.
• ACLS & PALS certification required prior to completion of orientation or within 6 months.
• Willing to rotate day/evening/night shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for all ages from birth through adulthood.
• Document patient data and communicate care plans during shift reports.
• Administer medications and procedures safely according to hospital policy.
• Initiate discharge planning and provide patient teaching.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Maintain infection control standards and patient safety practices.
