Job summary

SSM Health St. Clare Hospital – Fenton in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg unit. You will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Uses standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to increase the quality of care and quality of life for the patient, family, and significant other(s) by evaluating the nursing practice.
• Establishes effective relationships and advocates with the patient, family, and significant other(s) to facilitate the care plan.
• Uses the nursing process to develop and implement the plan of care, collect assessment data, determine diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
• Educates the patient and family about measures that promote health and comfort.
• Collaborates with the inter-professional team to assess needs, set goals, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
