Ascension St. Vincent Winchester in Winchester, IN is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical department.

This full-time night-shift position focuses on coordinating patient care, implementing care plans and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality outcomes. Qualified candidates will hold an Indiana RN license, have BLS certification (Provider) and an instructor credential to teach Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Formación

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required or equivalent professional licensure at time of hire.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing prior to hire date.
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• BLS Instructor certification obtained within 30 days of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).

Responsabilidades

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
