The role emphasizes ownership of the nursing process, collaboration in performance improvement, and leadership in evidence-based practice to influence care decisions and protocols across patient journeys.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license (single or multi-state), BLS and ACLS required; national specialty cert preferred.
• At least 2 years Med Surg experience; proficient in data entry; familiarity with Epic and 3M systems preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, time management, and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and handling fast-paced, emergency situations calmly.

Responsibilities

• Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring high-quality care.
• Foster a respectful, collaborative environment, engaging in performance improvement, research, and shared governance.
• Lead and apply evidence-based practices, participate in care decisions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
