Job summary

OSF HealthCare’s Saint Luke Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse to provide inpatient and emergency department care. The RN collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care across the continuum, while supporting patients and families at all times.

Necessary qualifications include active RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan and BLS certification. A BSN is preferred; EMR and basic MS Office skills are expected. OSF promotes equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board (Illinois or Michigan).
• Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination across the continuum by collaborating with providers and care teams.
• Assess physical symptoms and provide psychological support to patients and families.
• Mentor assigned team members and promote best practices in a 24/7 inpatient/ED setting.
