Mercy Pittsburg is seeking a registered nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit (Med-Surg). You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a diverse set of medical and surgical patients.

As part of a 32-bed Med-Surg service, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and contribute to care coordination across shifts and departments at Mercy.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in the applicable state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
