Job summary

Qualifications

• Takes nursing role with competence in assessment, exams, treatment and records.
• Must hold Texas RN license and BLS; NIH Stroke certification within 4 months.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and interprofessional team.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and assist with exams and treatment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate care with physicians.
• Provide patient education and advocacy, and participate in unit governance.
• Act as charge nurse or preceptor as needed and support team learning.
