Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg Department at Texas Health Cleburne. This full-time day shift (7A-7P) across a 36-hour work week includes weekend and holiday requirements. The department features a 34-bed unit with strong leadership and opportunities for growth.

Requirements include an associate degree or nursing diploma, RN licensure, BCLS/ACLS within specified timelines, and 1 year of Med/Surg experience or RN residency. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited nursing program or nursing diploma is required.
• BSN degree is preferred.
• One year of clinical RN experience or completion of an RN residency program.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient and plans care.
• Intervenes and evaluates outcomes of care.
• Ensures age-specific safety and infection control measures.
• Communicates information needs to patients and families.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and transfers.
