Incredible Health's partner hospitals in Temple, TX are hiring a Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical. The role invites nurses with diverse experience in cardiac, oncology, ortho, or neuro care to apply, with day or night shifts and full-time, part-time, or per diem options.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience, plus BLS certification and solid EMR skills.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in medical-surgical or similar setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and to facilitate discharge planning
• Educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management, medical conditions, and post-discharge care
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies
