Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Tele unit. The RN provides patient-centered care, conducting comprehensive assessments, managing pain, skin integrity, fall risks, and coordinating discharge planning with the care team.

Requirements include a California RN license, completion of an accredited RN program, and BLS/ACLS certification. Prior acute care med-surg experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• One (1) year medical/surgical experience in an acute care facility preferred.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, responsive care addressing patient needs and clinical presentation.
• Initiate discharge planning and accurately document care.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient status on Med Surg Tele.
