Job summary

Jackson Purchase Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an experienced RN to join the 64-bed Med/Surg unit in Mayfield, KY. The role offers fulltime days (7a–7p) with every 3rd weekend and a sign-on bonus eligible position.

RN license required, BLS/ACLS/PALS timelines apply. You will assess patients, initiate nursing interventions, document medical necessity, contribute to Interdisciplinary Care Plans and participate in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely documentation in the medical record for medical necessity.
• Responsible for revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
