Job summary

TeemaGroup in Hermiston, Oregon is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct care for medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing and collaboration with the care team.

The ideal candidate is a graduate from an accredited nursing program, holds OR RN licensure, and has BLS; ACLS and PALS are required or preferred. CMSRN and prior medical-surgical experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Oregon.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• CMSRN preferred.
• Previous medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients per hospital standards and nursing best practices.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vitals, and respond quickly to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Develop and initiate individualized computerized Plans of Care on admission.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals to support patient outcomes.
• Deliver culturally competent care addressing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
• Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and strong communication with patients, families, and care team.
• Assist in other departments as needed to ensure continuity of care.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

What you must have:
