Job summary

Lovelace Health System is seeking a day shift, full-time Medical Surgical RN on the 4th floor in Albuquerque, NM. You will be responsible for professional nursing care, may serve as Charge Nurse, and ensure patient safety by following hospital policies.

Required: Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing, NM RN license (or NM compact), BLS within 14 days of hire; ACLS/PALS may be required. Preferred: Bachelor’s in Nursing and 2 years in specialty and general nursing.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and licensure requirements.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and patient advocacy for Med-Surg patients.
• May serve as Charge Nurse and oversee nursing staff on shift.
• Adhere to policies and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality care.
