Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, GA is seeking a Staff Nurse for our Med-Surg unit. The 36-bed unit provides care for a wide range of adult patients, including orthopedic, general and bariatric surgeries, and telemetry monitoring. RN-to-patient ratios typically range from 1:5-6 with PCTs 1:6-9, supporting team-based patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate.
• Coordinate patient care activities with all assigned staff.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability in daily care.
