Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Roswell, NM is seeking a day shift, full-time Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. Provide professional nursing care and may serve as Charge Nurse, overseeing patient care and safety within the Med-Surg unit.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing, NM license or NM compact license within 90 days, and BLS within 14 days of hire. ACLS/PALS may be required; we offer tuition assistance, PTO, and a supportive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing required.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Hiring department may require ACLS and/or PALS.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and supervise staff under RN in charge.
• Serve as Charge Nurse when applicable and oversee professional practice.
• Follow policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure safety and compliance.
