Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse for Med Surg in the Waco, TX area. You will care for a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions, work with interdisciplinary teams, and assist with discharge planning.

Qualified candidates hold an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and some experience in medical-surgical settings. BLS certification and proficiency with EMR systems are required, with benefits and multiple shift options offered.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical or similar setting.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of patient care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and facilitate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care in line with hospital policies.
