Job summary

EGA Associates, LLC is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses for Medical Surgical units in Lyons, NJ. This full-time role offers day and night shifts with rotating weekends, providing comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

The ideal candidate will have an unrestricted RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS certification, with a preference for 1 year Med Surg experience. EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted RN license.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum of one year of Med Surg nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing standards.
Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
