Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland is seeking an RN to join a 32-bed medical-surgical unit where a broad range of diagnoses are treated. You will support evidence-based care, collaborate with hospitalists, neurology, nephrology, and other specialists, and participate in the Virtual Nursing Program.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and a minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience. A BSN is preferred, with a focus on safety, professional development, and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served (多-state compact may apply).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and participates in continuous outcomes evaluation.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Communicates effectively, provides feedback, and delegates appropriately within the team.
• Maintains ongoing professional development and required certifications.
• Adheres to ANA code of ethics and delivers unbiased patient care within the care team.
