Job summary

Novant Health’s Medical/Surgical nursing unit seeks an RN to deliver high‑quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will manage diverse patients, administer medications (including IV therapies), support post‑operative recovery, and collaborate with physicians and care teams.

Education: 4 Year/Bachelors preferred; graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN licensure. Experience: at least one year preferred. We value teamwork, communication, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Graduate of accredited nursing school; RN license required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.
• Administering medications, including IV therapies and antibiotics.
• Supporting post-operative recovery and ongoing medical management.
• Monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes in real time.
• Collaborating with physicians, case management, therapy services, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educating patients and families to support safe discharge planning.
