Job summary

Lexington Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg Unit A in Lexington, NC. This full-time role requires three 12-hour shifts per week (7a–7p) and delivers patient-centered care using the nursing process. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety, accurate documentation, and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific as applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice—monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and adapting care to support optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes—promoting safety, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting communication and delegation, and engaging in ongoing professional development.
