Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Med Surg RN, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers and the care team. You will provide personalized, compassionate care following established nursing models, acting as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to ensure outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Assess patient condition during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitor, and document care as ordered.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and respond to adverse reactions.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care, translating complex terminology as needed.

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
• RN license (Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Associate Degree).
