Med/Surg Travel Nursing Job Details

• Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Night Shift
• Location: Gadsden, Alabama 35903
• Healthcare Setting: Medical-Surgical Unit
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45pm – 7:15am)
• Weekly Schedule: 3 shifts/week (36 hours/week)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1680
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 12, 2026
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Qualifications

• Active Compact RN License or Alabama Registered Nurse License
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the healthcare facility

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Medical-Surgical unit
• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other nursing units as needed
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
