Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to assume responsibility for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care in a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. The nurse must demonstrate clinical judgment, critical thinking, and coordination of care with supervision.

Requirements include an active RN license in the practice state, proficiency in English, a current health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray clearance, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Full command of the English language (verbal & written).
• Current health certificate required per facility contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray on file.

Responsibilities

The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Full command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
