Job Description

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an experienced Nurse to join their team. This position will primarily involve working with orthopedic patients, but the team also handles overflow from general surgery and medical patients. The team is passionate, with diverse experience, skills, and backgrounds. It is a busy, fast-paced unit that offers opportunities to develop skills with a nationally recognized team, certified in Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement. The hospital is a leader in quality measures, celebrates successes, and recognizes hard work.

The Work: Full Time Night Shift

• Utilizes the nursing process.
• Performs patient care, delegates tasks, and supervises other care staff.
• Coordinates the care plan for assigned patients, consulting with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Demonstrates proficiency and adheres to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
